I could hardly contain my excitement when delivering this lovely Heirloom Keepsake Box to my client last week! Portraits from Ashley’s Maternity and Dylan’s Newborn sessions preserved on luxe fine art paper wrapped in supple leather….petite glass vials for storing little treasures from Dylan’s first year….cotton note paper for love notes and recording special memories….all kept safe in a beautifully engraved, hand-crafted wooden keepsake box with ample space for additional prints and mementos. I am IN LOVE with this!
I can just imagine sweet Dylan, around age five, begging his mama and daddy to get his box down (one more time), sit on the couch together and look at his baby pictures. To see how tiny he was in her arms and the love on her face. To gaze at how pretty his mama looked when he was in her tummy. To hold his coming home outfit and wonder how he ever fit in it. To see that little curl from his first hair cut tucked in that glass vial. To read those words again about how he changed their whole world.
And I can just imagine his mama pulling that box down off the shelf after her baby goes to college….
