I have started to blog this session several times, but the words simply escape me. I just look at the pictures, remember the moments I was privileged to share and capture for this precious couple, and my eyes well up with tears. Every time. How can I possibly assign words to something so beautifully profound? So, I give you images.
This is what love looks like when it’s been cultivated over the last 35 years.
Laughter….Respect….Admiration….Grace….Oneness
As a person, I was abundantly blessed by my time with John and Ann, watching them laugh together over fond remembrances and express their affection for one another. As a photographer, my heart explodes with joy to have created a space for them to do so, and to give this lovely couple something so much deeper than “smile, say cheese.”
