Getting to know the families I photograph is one of the most wonderful aspects of my job. I knew Hayley and I would work well together from her first email to me, as she was drawn to my simple, natural style of maternity and newborn photography. I was so excited to bring my collection of dresses to her home so she could choose her favorites for her portraits, and so I could look around for the best rooms to use for their newborn session in a few weeks. (I can’t wait!!) These are a couple ways I serve my clients and make preparations to create their custom portraits. And I love it! Because in the midst of serving my clients, I am blessed too….because this is so much more than a job. It’s a passion, a ministry, and a way to give the gift of a priceless moment frozen in time….one that can be celebrated over and over….from one generation to the next. It’s the story of your family, and I believe it deserves to be captured thoughtfully and beautifully.
Seth and Hayley and I had a sweet time together on this evening. She is brimming with grace and joy, and he undeniably adores his gorgeous wife. The waiting is full of wonder and hope, and it’s a lovely thing to behold.
