Chattanooga Family Photographer | Melissa and Eli

These pictures are special to me in so many ways. Recently, my childhood friend, Melissa, drove over from Franklin for a Motherhood session with her precious boy. It was such a pleasure to reconnect with her, meet the light of her life, and capture the two of them together. I am so thrilled when mamas recognize the importance of being photographed with their babies. It was clear throughout our time together that Eli is secure in his mama’s love and knows he is adored. I can’t help but wonder about the life he would be leading right now, had Melissa not made him her own.

I think it’s quite appropriate to post Melissa and Eli’s session today because a portion of their fee was donated to bring another orphan home from China. At this very moment, my friends David and Shana Ivarson are on a plane to go get their sweet Aiden. Bless that baby, he has no idea the love that is his. Soon enough, he will. My little friend Eli knows, and so does his mama. I have a feeling that’s why they drove over two hours to see me. And I’m so glad they did.
