My daughter had her 16th birthday this week. Just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital, unable to take my eyes off her, amazed and enamored with her every feature, every move and sound she made. My memory alone cannot transport me back to that time. Pictures are my gateway into those treasured moments.
