These babies! How beyond precious are these little faces?? I am so excited to share these portraits, created in Sweet Caroline Photographie’s brand new natural light studio, located in Cleveland.
Who of us isn’t in complete awe at the superpowers of twin mothers? I loved watching Jennie with these adorable little ones, full of love and grace and patience. The story of how these babies came to be is so heartwarming, so I asked Jennie to share a little about it. Thank you, Jennie, for the privilege of spending time with you and your babies and documenting all their 4-month-old sweetness!
I was in tears last Sunday and it wasn’t the usual tears from worship, it was exhaustion. I was so tired. I am so tired, but I love it. I’m comfortable admitting that, owning that, because it took me a long time to get here. Eleven years. Eleven years growing our big family is longer than I wanted. So, I can’t help but appreciate every precious moment as well as every struggle because I have wanted and waited for so long. I’m very happy for God’s timing. Not my timing. I don’t know if I could have handled this as a young 27 year old when we started trying for babies. God’s timing is always right. To quote Dr. James Dobson “Leave the future in God’s hands. If He is calling you to do a job, He will make it possible for you to care for your family and overcome any other barriers to the responsibility.”
I’m so thankful for these blessings. For these beautiful pictures, priceless really. And if I should ever forget to give pause and be thankful then I have a beaming face, or two, to remind me.
