The newborn days can feel so long. You convince yourself it will be a long, long time before your baby will sit up and jabber and eat actual food. Then you turn around once and stare in awe at the little person who is sitting there bouncing to music, clapping and eating pureed carrots. He’s becoming more independent by the day. Everything is a new discovery, with joy to be found around every corner….for him and for you. Live each moment to its fullest. Before you know it, we’ll be chasing him at his photo sessions.
Sitting up sessions (between 6-8 months) are some of my very favorites! Babies are happy and interactive and so much fun to watch as they respond to the affection of their mamas and daddies. I’m honored to have photographed Sarah’s Maternity session, sweet Lewis as a Newborn, and again a few days ago at 7 months. I love love watching babies grow and blossom into their little personalities, and consider it such a privilege to be invited into my clients’ lives to capture something so priceless for them.
